B.L.A.S.T. Win a Record Contract Contest

You want to be a star? You want to have your music reviewed by major recording artists, producers and executives? Now is your chance to shine! In partnership with Miami Central High, Youth Power Movement, and artists Mishon and Fabian Hernandez, The Music Producer 2.1 is offering students a chance to Win a Record Contract.

As a follow-up to President Obama's recent visit and recognition to Miami Central High as one of the top turn-around schools in the country, the first Contest is for the best song created incorporating the Positive Behaviour Support and B.L.A.S.T elements into a song: Be Considerate, Lead by Example, Act Responsibly, Show Respect, Transform your Thinking.

Songs submitted will be posted on Facebook and your friends and fans will have a chance to listen and comment!

Mishon

• Contest Guidelines:

  • Must include positive behaviour support and B.L.A.S.T related lyrics.
  • Track should be a minimum of 40 seconds and no longer than 2.5 minutes
  • Music must be license and royalty free (all loops and samples included in The Music Producer 2.1 software are license and royalty free)
  • Submissions must be sent in QNS format (format of The Music Producer 2.1)
  • Songs must be submitted to talent@themusicproducer.com or may be uploaded directly via your My Songs profile page. Once uploaded, click the "Submit to contest" link for each track you'd like to submit to the B.L.A.S.T Contest.
  • Contest will begin October 14 and end December 31
  • Winners must be in good standing at Miami Central High and will require parental consent to participate in prizes

Fabian Hernandez

Fabian Hernandez, a Miami-based singer, songwriter and model, who is signed with Sony ATV Publishing and has produced a catalogue of 250 songs. He has teamed up with C-Rod Music (Lil Wayne, Jessica Simpson, Snoop Dog) to record his new album. Feneiva, his band, performs live internationally and charted #11 in Latin America Billboard's and their music video Vacante plays on MTV3. Fabian is now recruiting and developing young talent.
