  • Contest Guidelines:

    • Track should be a minimum of 40 seconds and no longer than 2.5 minutes
    • Music must be license and royalty free (all loops and samples included in The Music Producer 2.1 software are license and royalty free)
    • Submissions must be sent in MP3 or QNS format (format of The Music Producer 2.1)
    • Contest will begin July 1 and end December 31, 2011
    • If 18 years or younger, must submit written parental consent form to participate. Click here to download Parental Consent from.

  • How To Enter:

    • Register on The Music Producer website

    • To submit your entry, follow one of the three options below:
      1. Upload your MP3 file to your MyMusicSpace profile and click the "Submit to contest" link for each track you'd like to submit to the Computer Explorers Contest.
      2. Upload your music to your MyMusicSpace profile directly from The Music Producer program using the Publish feature, next log onto your MyMusicSpace profile and click the "Submit to contest" link for each track you'd like to submit to the Computer Explorer Contest. NOTE: A Facebook Connect account is required to use this feature refer to our Support section for more info. This feature allows you to share your music with your friends on Facebook!
      3. Submit your song in QNS format to talent@themusicproducer.com

  • Winners:

    • Will receive an opportunity to have their music reviewed by senior level music executives (including senior executives at One World Artists, Smart Trax, Dynasty Records, Castle Point Records and a former BMI/BMG Producer)
    • Top 5 songs will be distributed through The Music Producer's international network and winners will gain global exposure
    • Winners will receive press recognition including but not limited to a radio and possible video interview
    • Additional prizes to be announced soon!
